I hope you enjoy this stunning August wedding, that was held at Rochester Cathedral; and followed by the wedding reception at Westenhanger Castle (a stunning Kent wedding venue) just outside of Hythe in Kent.
A truly amazing day starting off local to Rochester for bridal preparation, followed by a short drive to Rochester Cathedral to meet up with the groom and await for the arrival of friends and family outside the Cathedral.
While it wouldn’t normally have been a problem, the drive to the reception in Hythe after the ceremony was complicated due to some major traffic on the M20 (due to operation Stack for those that know what this means!). However we had made sure that any time slippage had been incorporated into the wedding plan and everyone made it to the reception in good time; and we still had plenty of time for photographs in the beautiful grounds of the Castle and Manor House.
There was plenty of entertainment for the guests too, bagpiper playing during the drinks and entrance of the bride and groom, the singing waiters, who are just brilliant fun; and later along with the live band Pzaz! Brilliant!
The grand finale though, was the excellent firework display at the end of the night! A real treat for me as it’s not often I get to photograph the fireworks! Excellent fun!
